Help Make My Film Production Journal Entry - March 24, 2006 OK I'M A SLACKER Yes, that's right and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I've been so busy defending myself against a stalker, finding gigs for my band and recording music that I have slacked off from my duties as a budding filmmaker and neglected writing my production journal. But no longer shall I shirk my duties. Today, I can honestly say that I am one step closer to making this film. We (the band) have been in our studio working on the song Sweet Little Honey. The song is expected to be used in the film and is a great southern rock tune. My partner, the guitarist Gio, wrote the music and has co-written the lyrics with me. It's a fun rockin' tune. But I guess you'd like to hear it wouldn't you? Sure you would, but not yet. We're just finishing up the recording and will probably be mastering it for the next couple of weeks. But it's coming out great so I expect to have it up on the site soon. Ot woll also be on the band's website, which by the way, our band name is officially being changed to duh, duhm duh dummmm... Angels of Bedlam I think it's appropriate with the hell and chaos my life has gone through over the past year. But while you're waiting for more things to come, I'll let you in on the first verse and chorus. Tell me what you think... "Sweet Little Honey" Five Blocks West of the Railroad Tracks I Said, Come on Baby I Said Sweet little Honey When The songs done, I'll let you hear it. Until then, I'm gonna try like hell to keep updating this site. It's a little difficult when I'm saddled with a sociopath breathing down my neck, but hey if Jody Foster could handle the psychos, I can handle one wacko from Egypt or wherever he's really from. Nobody still really knows his name. - Evann Black |
